A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to explore the beautiful Oregon Coast. Before this adventure, I’d only explored a small tip of the northern west coast, as well as small part of the southern California coast. Thus, I didn’t really know what to expect. Nonetheless, the Oregon Coast absolutely blew me away!
Just imagine it… jagged cliffs that’ll make your heart skip a beat, mind-blowing rock formations scattered along the beach, breathtaking views of the vast ocean, and unbelievable sunsets filled with an array of incredible colors. I’d never seen anything like it.
No doubt, spending only a few days exploring the Oregon Coast was not nearly enough time to take it all in! I could’ve spent weeks exploring this untouched and magnificent part of the United States. Taking in the beauty and appreciating it a little longer!
So, to spark your visit to the Oregon Coast, here are 25 stunning photos!
With a coast that looks like that, how can you not be inspired to visit this breathtaking place? Out of all places in the USA, the Oregon Coast has to be one of my favorites!
P.S. If I’ve already convinced you to visit, check out these cool and unusual places to stay in Oregon!
The beaches hidden along the coast are a great place to spend the afternoon, exploring and uncovering their hideaways! Zig-zaging and winding your way through the towering rocks that lie along the ocean.
Although, even though the beaches are some of the best things along the Oregon Coast, that’s not all it has to offer. One of the coolest parts about it is there are tons of fantastic sand dunes hidden along the coast! It’s unbelievable and absolutely stunning.
Additionally, dotted along the coast are teeny, tiny little towns that are totes adorable! With charming marinas, cute cafes, friendly locals, and quaint lil’ shops, it’s easy to spend a day in each one exploring what it has to offer.
But hold up! There’s even more… Whilst making your way along the Oregon Coast, you can also stop at America’s Largest Sea Cave! Which, by the way, is filled with tons and tons of sea lions. It’s crazy cool and a must-see destination along the Oregon Coast.
And whilst in the sea cave, you can get a magical view of the surrounding coastline! It’ll no doubt take your breath away, like every other photo here.
Also along the coast is something wild. Like crazy wild, which translates into crazy freakin’ cool. This crazy cool thing is called Thor’s Well. A natural hole sitting on the edge of the coast; seemingly bottomless and no doubt incredible. And if anything goes down it, it’s definitely not coming back up!
The sunsets here are just as magical as any other time of the day on the coast, if not more so! As the sun shimmers off the rolling in tide and the waves crash on the rocks, mother nature once again nearly makes my heart stop.
So… have I inspired you to visit the Oregon Coast? If so, yay! This strip of west coast is some of the most beautiful you’ll ever see.
If not, well that’s just too damn bad. Maybe these photos will inspire you to visit Aegina Island in Greece instead?! I’m just here to try stir up some wanderlust in you! The world is waiting…

February 24, 2018 12:01 pmThank you! And I loved visiting at the beginning of the year (February) because it wasn’t too busy with tourists but really, anytime of the year is awesome here! It has a really steady weather pattern, usually hovering around 50-60 degrees F / 10-16 degrees C all year!
